I don’t really understand this photo and there is no description?
don’t think literal. You will get it later. I promise.
The purpose of a diptych is to present two images for the purpose of comparing and/or contrasting them to bring out meaning that neither would possess alone (a triptych would be putting three images together).
Without getting too far into an analysis, the purpose of this diptych is to show that both subjects are old & weathered, yet have something inside of beauty to present to the viewer.
This is some of your best, Will. I like the two together. Nice job.
