This web was pretty far away so I wasn’t able to capture a dramatic spider shot. I was captivated by the web though. I think it came out pretty well in the photo. This was the first time I actually used my manual focus on my new camera. I finally figured it out!

Almost a perfect web.
I like the green behind it. You know, I read somewhere that they put those white patches in their webs so the birds don’t fly into them.
Interesting, but don’t birds eat spiders?
