I thought I’d put a little twist on the Americana theme for today and talk about how wasteful we can be. We try to recycle all that we can in my house, but still find plenty to fill the landfill. One must wonder, “How long does this stuff take to break down?”. Some of it never does. That is why it is so important to recycle in order to save Mother Earth for our kids. Furthermore, we as Americans just MUST drive these large SUVs. I always see soccer moms @ my kids school in these large utility vehicles. They do nothing more with them than haul their kids to school, dance, and soccer. Why do they pay $3.40/gallon to do nothing other than taxi their kids around? I guess it is just the American way. Just a side note: Tuesday is Earth day. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
