I just realized I posted the black and white version of this a while back but never the color one. I don’t know why but there is something captivating about classic cars waiting to be rescued. I forgot my camera on this day and as par the course, I stumbled across something interesting. Thank goodness my cell phone has a camera!

Game Over- The End

How fitting that on my last junkyard trip I found this car with such a pertinent message? No doubt I knew I was going to use this image for the last day of our challenge. Taking all of these photos has been both fun and exhausting. The daily deadlines challenged me to be creative working within time constraints (something I never really thought I could do). I appreciate Will and Julie for letting me participate. Thanks to everyone else who participated as well. I really enjoyed your work!

The Playground

This is a picture from a playground in Clearwater. My cousin came to visit from Arizona and this is her daughter peeking out from the tunnel at us. We all had a great time and are sad to see them go back home.

I have found that I have become obsessed with patterns. At first I did not notice it until Will pointed it out to me, but now I notice patterns all over the place and I am drawn to capture them.

William - Bubble Gun

I saw a picture that Leah posted a few days ago, and it reminded me of some shots I took of my youngest son, William, a few years ago with my Finepix S5000…

Editor’s Note: My apologies to Dave. I didn’t realize this image was intended to be posted on or before the 4th. I post them up in the order that they’re uploaded. My bad.
I am truly PROUD to be an American. I am BLESSED to have been born into this wonderful nation. I thank God every day for that. I try not to take our freedoms for granted.
I pray for our nation every day. Hope you do too.
I wish you all a safe and Happy 4th!
