3 Sisters Springs is a beautiful hidden landmark in Citrus County. You can only ge there by boat, and you have to drop anchor and swim in through the trees to find this glorious sight. We took our friend Tina here a couple of weekends ago. Tina is a certified scuba diver and just loves to be in the water, even when it is 72 degrees.
This trip out we decided to bring the underwater camera and see what we could come up with. When the sun is out it makes the most beautiful streaks thru the water. In this picture Tina is free falling into the 2nd of the 3 springs. We had such a blast and the pics turned out great. Time to invest in yet another camera.

Shell Island is covered with little hidden crabs. Every step you see them scatter and hide in their underground caves. I had to become very still and wait for this little guy to poke himself out to catch this pic. If you just glance at it quickly you’ll miss him.

We took the kids out to Shell Island and let them explore. I followed close behind to catch all the wonders. I snapped this shot while they were digging for shells.

They might have crowned her Litle Miss Citrus County 2008 1st Place runner up but she will always be my princess. She walked away with $50.00 cash, a 3 foot trophy, an 8 inch trophy, an 8 inch bucket crown, a 2 inch crown, 7 category medallions, and her State Finals entrance fees paid.
