I took these at Homosassa Wildlife Park in June. They were stored on my laptop that was being repaired. I just loved this bird. She kept staring at the lens, then put her face down for the rest of the shots I took. It was as if she was intrigued, then bashful. I love the communication some of the birds have with you when you are taking their picture; they have such personalities.

My favorite shot from Homosassa Springs in June, 2009. Some people say it’s a hawk and I say it’s an owl for it turns its head all the way around. Have to research this, I guess for I don’t remember the name of it.

Waiting for the fireworks to begin in front of Monkey Island I snapped this sunset. I like the way there are still enough clouds to break up the sunlight but not to many to take away from it beauty.
