To me, “cute seagulls” is kind of an oxymoron, but I actually think these guys are pretty cute.  They’re different then the annoying “mine, mine” kind . . . actually you can see one of those (with the black head) in the background.

Hi. I am Carol and live in Spring Hill. I love taking photos and have always had some kind of camera since I can remember, although they were always of the point and shoot variety. In 2004, I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix Point & Shoot, and when I moved to FL, I began to shoot sunsets. It wasn’t long before I realized the limitations of my camera and decided I had to have a DSLR. I now shoot with an Olympus eVolt E-500 and am quite happy with it. Of course, one day I want to upgrade, but right now, I love my camera. I shoot a variety of things, not having a clear favorite. I enter contests on BetterPhoto.com and have a gallery there.

This is an image that was taken along the Intercoastal Waterway near Indian Rocks Beach. I took it from a boat as we slowly cruised along, watching for dolphins. I enjoy the reflections and patterns. I changed it to B&W because it had very little color to begin with. It was taken late in the evening just a few hours before sunset.

I know we are supposed to post what we are watching or listening to, and I think that is a fun way to learn more about one another. However, I am unsure where to post this info and this time, because it is so late, I am listening to neither the TV nor radio. My hubby is alseep and so is my son and his friend who spent the night tonight. So all is quiet right now. :)
