I love the side lighting in this photo.

I caught this one just at the right moment.  She looks so full of light-hearted joy.

Do You See The Light?

Do You See The Light?

Do you ever just happen upon a setting that seems to cry out to be photographed? This is what happened to me when I was watching the Mercy Me concert at the Strawberry festival. These steps are part of the concrete stadium bleachers.

You would get a cap in your ass if you wore this in public in CA. Perhaps that’s why I will never get used to seeing it.

At the Strawberry Festival. I didn’t ride the ferris wheel that day, but I did ride the “Zipper,” a near vomit-inducing ride. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Streaming Music: “My Town” by Montgomery Gentry — I love this song. It embodies the feel of American blood running through my veins.

While at The Strawberry Festival this weekend, I had to stop this guy and ask him about his enormous shark tooth. He was kind enough to tell me a little about it and how he regularly finds fossilized shark teeth in Peace River. He said he has one twice that size at home. This guy was so awesome. He was the most interesting and colorful person I saw the entire day.

Worship

This is kind of an unusual post for me. I’m not one to post fuzzy pictures but in this case I think it adds to the impact of the message. This past Saturday we went to the Strawberry Festival to see the Christian rock band “Mercy Me.” We were sitting in the FREE seats way up high in the back of the stadium. During one particularly moving moment in the show I looked around to see so many people being moved by the Spirit of God. What I like about this image is that the people seem to resemble spirits as well.

Watching Rex

I happened to be near Dinosaur World the other day. I’ve always wanted to stop and snap a few pics of Rex.
