This is an extra post from me today in memory of a friend of mine who passed away recently from his fifth bout with cancer. He was a tough old guy and I honestly believed he would make it through again. Luckily, he had lived a full life and even if he didn’t, he sure told it like he did. I’ll miss you, Richard.

My daughter is always stalling for time so she won’t have to go to bed too early. Although this time I forgot to give her allergy medication and had to wake the poor thing up out of a dead sleep so she could drink it. When I saw her shadow I the wall next to her I was inspired to take this photograph.
