Day 014: In Your Eyes

One of my favorite music artists has always been Peter Gabriel. The song “In Your Eyes” is one of my favorites. Now that my little one is getting better, I got to get some pics of her. Last week I posted pics of her when we were traveling from NJ to Florida. She could not look at me in the eyes. She was very dazed and confused. She would not eat much and she was getting stuck behind furniture. She just came in from the backyard and was playing in the sand with my other dog, Bridie. This is a miracle that she is doing this well. We all thank you for your prayers and good thoughts, SFD!
These images were inspired by Leah and Hank with their prime lenses and macros of their beloved pets. I picked one up for Christmas and I do love it.

I believe photos should be taken at all times of life. My family makes fun of me for taking photos of the most absurd things, but not once, did they utter a word this week. Our brother passed away on 11/28/09 and I took this picture. Every guy is one of my brothers except for the one nearest the camera on the right. Rest in peace, Michael.

This is my friend, Stacey, who is having her first child. She waited a long time to have this baby. She asked me to photograph her shower. This baby has been a blessing to so many. I am so thrilled for my friend. What an awesome Mommy she will be!

After a Lifetime

This is my father who lost my mom almost two years ago. They were married for 59 years. These photos tell just a tiny bit of their love story. He is placing roses in her vases alongside her headstone. Mom was sick for a very long time; unable to walk and feed herself. Dad did those things for her for about 17 years. We all helped, of course, but it was he who was there 24/7. This is one of the greatest love stories I have ever witnessed. This is a man who truly loved his wife and is still in love with her after a lifetime.
