It’s official! We’re having a safari at the Brooksville Raid on Sunday! How does 1pm sound to everybody? Be sure to arrive at or around noon so you can park and wander around a little bit. Why don’t we all meet at the food concession area?
Here’s a link to Google Maps in case you’re not sure how to get there. Leave a comment in the shoutbox or on this post if you’re planning on going!

I spent New Year’s Day with my friends Kathleen and Brett Carnali. Kathleen is a gifted Christian singer and songwriter. She and her husband Brett are both amazing people who are on fire for Jesus. And though she has the talent to compete with any of today’s artists Kathleen’s passion lies in reaching others for Christ. Kathleen and Brett have traveled all over the world with their music ministry and continue to bring many people to Christ. I could feel the presence of God in the church that night during Kathleen’s performance. God was pouring out His joy that night. If you love great music you can find Kathleen online.

The tradition of shaking hands, giving kisses & hugs and well wishes at midnight is one that spans all races, cultures & ages. But a kiss from your dad when you are a teenager isn’t exactlly the “coolest” thing to receive. As you can tell by her face Brooke isn’t as festive as her father. But the tradition continues.

Part of the ICE exhibit in Orlando. If you have never been I highly recommend going. The 9 degrees will numb your fingers and nose, but it is well worth it.

I believe photos should be taken at all times of life. My family makes fun of me for taking photos of the most absurd things, but not once, did they utter a word this week. Our brother passed away on 11/28/09 and I took this picture. Every guy is one of my brothers except for the one nearest the camera on the right. Rest in peace, Michael.
