During the holidays my wife and her friend always make peanut butter cups. This year the annual event was done together and @ our house. My daughter learned how to make them  and I was able to use my 50mm prime lens to document the event. It was a fun day. If you’ve never had these little delicacies, you do not know what you are missing. They do not last very long in our house.

They are one of my greatest sources of joy and inspiration. This is my little Libby, the kisser of my bunch. When I get home, she is so happy to see me she can’t stop kissing me.

7:46 pm in Digital, Family, Florida, Natural Lighting, Nikon D50, Project365, Spring Hill by Nicole Bennett

Watching my daughter tap away on her Blackberry reminds of just how much times have changed. When I was 14, we went to our friends houses to talk to them, now we just text.

Day 002: Missing Someone

5:26 pm in Family, Natural Lighting, New Jersey, Nikon D90, Nostalgic, Project365, Travel by Dorothy Sheehan

This was the Smart Car that was my brother’s. It’s sitting in my father’s driveway. Every time I wash the dishes at the kitchen window, I keep thinking he should be in the driver’s seat.

Week 01: When can I play?

12:53 pm in Digital, Family, Florida, Fuji FinePix S1500, Inverness, Pet, Project52 by Lisa Smith

Our dog Sadie was disappointed when she was told she couldn’t play outside with the other dogs. She had to wait her turn, so being the good dog she waited and watched the little dogs play with her tennis ball. At last the door was opened and she was let loose. Needless to say the tennis ball was back with its rightful owner.

Day 001: Ugh…Dad!!

12:00 am in Digital, Event, Family, Fill Flash, Florida, Nikon D50, People, Portrait, Project365, Tampa by Nicole Bennett

The tradition of shaking hands, giving kisses & hugs and well wishes at midnight is one that spans all races, cultures & ages. But a kiss from your dad when you are a teenager isn’t exactlly the “coolest” thing to receive. As you can tell by her face Brooke isn’t as festive as her father. But the tradition continues.

Maximum Trouble

is our shelter rescue. He thinks he’s a lap dog half the time. He constantly looks for my girls and whimpers when he cannot locate them. Yes, he’s spoiled.
