The search for the mysterious missing “flip flops”

The search was on for the missing flip flops….but we finally found them both. When we went to the beach my daughter lost the flip flops I thought it would be cute to put a picture (story) line into the search for the missing flip flops.
Storm at the beach

We were at the beach when a storm started to roll in. Thankfully it wasn’t thundering and lightening so I was able to get some great shots. Pine Island was at super high tide, and then the storm surges started coming in and the water as coming up over the seawall. If you are familiar with this beach at all, you know that most of the time you have to walk a mile just to get to the water. This time the water was coming to us, it was a pretty awesome thing to watch. As fast as the storm came in is as fast as it cleared up.

This was a trip to Pine Island where the search was on for the “flip flops”.
Nature’s Masterpiece

I used the manual settings on the camera for this one. I have no idea what they were, but I turned the dial to M and kept shooting.

Forever Sunrise

I called this forever for it looked like the sunrise lit up the sky and it was reaching into infinity yesterday morning. Photos do not do this sunrise justice. This was taken on Cape May Beach in Cape May, New Jersey. I put the camera on manual settings in the second photo. It really brought out the orange in the sky. Also, the second image was taken last so the sun had filled the sky’s entirety by that time.

A long walk of shells

We took the kids out to Shell Island and let them explore. I followed close behind to catch all the wonders. I snapped this shot while they were digging for shells.
