Day 014: In Your Eyes

12:00 am in Black & White, Digital, Florida, Macro, Natural Lighting, Nikon D90, Pet, Portrait, Project365, SepiaTone, Spring Hill by Dorothy Sheehan

One of my favorite music artists has always been Peter Gabriel. The song “In Your Eyes” is one of my favorites. Now that my little one is getting better, I got to get some pics of her. Last week I posted pics of her when we were traveling from NJ to Florida. She could not look at me in the eyes. She was very dazed and confused. She would not eat much and she was getting stuck behind furniture. She just came in from the backyard and was playing in the sand with my other dog, Bridie. This is a miracle that she is doing this well. We all thank you for your prayers and good thoughts, SFD!
These images were inspired by Leah and Hank with their prime lenses and macros of their beloved pets. I picked one up for Christmas and I do love it.

Day 006: My Angel

Everyone says animals can sense things, but this one is extraordinary. My girl, who laid by my side, after every chemo session and surgery is very sick now. Vet says it’s a hypothyroid. I am hoping the meds work soon. He said it will take a couple of weeks. The traveling has not helped at all.

Week 01: When can I play?

12:53 pm in Digital, Family, Florida, Fuji FinePix S1500, Inverness, Pet, Project52 by Lisa Smith

Our dog Sadie was disappointed when she was told she couldn’t play outside with the other dogs. She had to wait her turn, so being the good dog she waited and watched the little dogs play with her tennis ball. At last the door was opened and she was let loose. Needless to say the tennis ball was back with its rightful owner.

Dog On It!

When I was out looking for my black lab, I saw this dog waiting for his owner in the rain. He was so still for a while; that I thought he was stuffed. Then, he finally moved. Of course, I had the camera with me in the car.

Bonding

4:19 pm in Digital, Fill Flash, Florida, Nikon D90, Pet, Spring Hill by Dorothy Sheehan

These two really bonded last February when I left for a 3 day weekend for Dad’s 80th birthday. The neighbor was taking care of them. When I came back, this is what I saw every night. They are the neediest of my pets so I guess they found a way to comfort each other while I was away.

I couldn’t get Tucker to pose for a picture until he saw a squirrel in the tree and by that time I was relaxing in the grass. This is the resulting shot.
