I sat for about 20 minutes and watched these two work the intersection. For every light cycle, about three cars donated to their cause. Listening To: Blue Jeans And A Rosary by Kid Rock
Yeah, yeah, I know! this place is going to the dogs! This is an old photo that I wanted to share. One of my dogs didn’t appreciate the gate that we put up to keep them out of the living room when we weren’t home. As you can see by this image, “Super Dog” had no problem getting over this pet gate in a single bound. In case you didn’t know, American Eskimos are quite the jumpers. Just wait until I find the image of him jumping over the tree in our backyard!
My friends are so sweet. Having had only a few hours of sleep but thrice that in alcoholic drinks, Andrea walked down to my house with her ridiculously hyper dog type thing named Truman, so that I could get the last of my shots for a Photo Scavenger Hunt I did this past weekend.
We had to nail him to the ground to keep him still.
A few more images from Sunday’s VW show and the city of Lakeland. Hope you all enjoy.
This image just presented itself to me. I was walking past my car and noticed how the body lines were converging. I thought it made for a cool image.
VW Bugs have always appealed to me because their front ends resemble faces. This is one that really stood out. He kind of has a relaxed, just hanging out look to him, don’t you think? Shh, maybe he’s going to sleep.
Here comes the RUST! This poor old bus had plenty of it. What you see here is an area of the roof around one of the skylight windows.
I was checking out this VW camper and as I peered inside I saw this sad little dog lying on the rear bed. I love the look of the dog against the 70′s plaid.
A little trivia for you. This is the back side of the Southgate shopping center’s huge sign. This plaza was used in the 1990 film Edward Scissorhands. Other scenes were shot right by my house!
