Stud 3

Spending the day on the Happy Tree Farm was an adventure. Evreything from cute puppies for sale to this guy, the farm stud. He was patiently waiting for his new mate to arrive, prancing around the feild and showing off all his glory. I love the way he holds himself with such grace and poise. Right after I snapped this photo, of course I had to change to the next roll of film, he went into a kicking a bucking rant that lasted but a minute. It ws beautiful.

Chinese War Horse

This Chinese war horse was at the entrance of a very fine Chinese restaurant in Ft. Meyrs, FL. My son and I went down there for his orientation to his new college, Florida Gulf Coast University. There are so many beautiful things down there, I will definitely make many trips down to see him this school year.

Trinity was the only one of us that was able to walk out into the pasture and bring Tex to the fence without a halter on. He followed her like he had been trained by for years.

Head 'em up, move 'em out!

As seen in the Citrus County Chronicle. One of many I took while covering a Team Sorting event for the Chronicle. This lady is a SERIOUS rider and was impressive.

Eye on Duty

I spent some time last month talking to a Pasco county mounted officer. I really loved the look of his horse, especially up close. Hope you do too. This is also a bit of a self portrait too. LOL.
