Working with a new camera (Olympus E-30) and trying to “explore the possibilities”. The sunset at Bayport and along Bayou Drive helped a lot!

Plus, when I got home I found this little “present” at the top of the tree!

3 Sisters Springs is a beautiful hidden landmark in Citrus County. You can only ge there by boat, and you have to drop anchor and swim in through the trees to find this glorious sight. We took our friend Tina here a couple of weekends ago. Tina is a certified scuba diver and just loves to be in the water, even when it is 72 degrees.
This trip out we decided to bring the underwater camera and see what we could come up with. When the sun is out it makes the most beautiful streaks thru the water. In this picture Tina is free falling into the 2nd of the 3 springs. We had such a blast and the pics turned out great. Time to invest in yet another camera.

Finally! I think I got it!
Hello! My name is Beth Halladay. I love photography. I live in Ridge Manor FL.
I took this picture as we were leaving the Port Of Tampa. Thought that it was a great shot of the Skyway Bridge.

The search was on for the missing flip flops….but we finally found them both. When we went to the beach my daughter lost the flip flops I thought it would be cute to put a picture (story) line into the search for the missing flip flops.

We were at the beach when a storm started to roll in. Thankfully it wasn’t thundering and lightening so I was able to get some great shots. Pine Island was at super high tide, and then the storm surges started coming in and the water as coming up over the seawall. If you are familiar with this beach at all, you know that most of the time you have to walk a mile just to get to the water. This time the water was coming to us, it was a pretty awesome thing to watch. As fast as the storm came in is as fast as it cleared up.

Took this bird’s portrait during my photo shoot in Wildwood’s Venician Gardens Park. I was there to shoot a fabulous model. What a great time.

This was the first trip of many to Buccaneer Bay for the summer. My daughter was so excited to be there that she didn’t even mind the freezing water! (i did though) She was trying to see how high she could kick splash the water. I’m sure there will be many more pictures like this one to come…..summer has just begun.

This gull seems to have bowed his head in prayer. I had to shoot this.
